Please join us as salute our Veterans at the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa.
Our speaker will be Norb Murray.
A native of California, Norb is a graduate of the University of California and holds a Master's Degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey. He spent 25 years in the United States Marine Corps serving in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot, and as a Presidential helicopter pilot and White House Liaison Officer for Presidents Nixon, Ford, and Carter. Other highlights include commanding officer of the Marine Barracks at Whidbey Island, Washington, and Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary of the Navy.
Upon retirement from the Marine Corps, Norb and his wife Leah, settled in Oregon in 1990, then resettled in Idaho in 2020.
We are also grateful to have Command Sargeant Major (Ret) Philip V. Hawkins as our Guest of Honor. CSM Hawkins was born and raised in Idaho and served two tours in Vietnam, receiving the Bronz Star, Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Metal.
All attendees will have the opportunity to tour the museum.
Please note this event will take place on Monday, May 19th.
Catering will be provided by Goodwood BBQ.
